What you don’t know is going on in our schools

During the August meeting the School Board discussed that their were more students that needed to be dropped off at Holy Family than ever before. This means that there are fewer students attending Stow-Munroe Falls Schools because more parents have decided to take their kids out of public school. Parents do not feel the school is a safe environment. The Board does not consider how their policies are pushing children out of the schools.

Property values were recently reassessed meaning that we are all paying more for the existing levies because they are based on the new values of our properties. These basis of our property taxes will not be reduced as the housing market cools over the next few months. We will be paying based on the inflated, housing bubble values.

Despite this increase income and reduced number of student the School Board insists on more money. Further they want more money in increased levies from the parents who are already footing both the cost of public school with existing levies and paying for private/parochial school.

All while refusing to address the oversexualized policies that are driving students away. They are captured by activists pushing an extremist agenda.

I say no. No more money until the schools actual respond to parents. No more money until the schools return to education instead of indoctrination.
