Gender Affirming Care

Local hospitals, including Akron Children’s Hospital, and schools are partnering to encourage “Gender Affirmation” claiming that it decreases suicides, however it actually increases suicides. When after drugs, hormones and surgery the person still doesn’t “feel right,” because the real issue hasn’t been addressed, there is an increase in suicide in addition to deaths from drug and surgery complications.
