Campaigning with Public Funds

At the October 24, 2022 the School Board President admitted to publishing "Community Connection," at public expense and that it was produced by School District employees as part of their jobs.

"Community Connection" was a campaign ad for the levy repeatedly advocating that citizens "Vote for" the levy and "Vote Yes." It is illegal to use public resources to advocate for or against any ballot issue, levy or candidate.

Why should the School District with trusted with additional money when they have already shown themselves incapable of obeying the law with existing funds?
